The first question almost every Charlotte homeowner asks me is simple: "What's this going to cost?" It's a fair question, and one a lot of websites dodge. So here's a straight answer โ real 2026 price ranges for the jobs I get asked about most, based on what I actually charge across the Charlotte metro area. No hidden fees, no vague "call for a quote" runaround.
A quick note on how handyman pricing works: most small jobs are quoted as a flat rate per task, not strictly by the hour. There's a 2-hour minimum per visit, so it's almost always cheaper to bundle several small jobs into one trip than to call me out three separate times.

Check the jobs you need in one visit for a ballpark total โ bundling beats the 2-hour minimum.
Pick a few โ most visits land between $150 and $400.

What Changes the Price
Three things move a quote up or down more than anything else:
- Access & height. A second-story gutter or a TV over a tall fireplace takes longer and needs more equipment.
- Surface. Brick, tile, and plaster (common in historic Charlotte neighborhoods) are slower than standard drywall.
- Materials. I can pick up parts for you, or you can supply them โ your call.
How to Get the Most for Your Money
Bundle your list. If you've got a wobbly toilet, two pictures to hang, and a squeaky door, getting them all done in one visit easily beats the 2-hour minimum and saves you a second trip charge. Send me a few photos up front and I'll give you a clear estimate before I ever show up โ so the number you hear is the number you pay.
Every quote I give is free and upfront. If you'd like a real number for your specific project, send over a quick description and a couple of photos and I'll get right back to you.
