Services

Mike's Handyman Services provides professional handyman services including, but not limited to, repairs, installations, maintenance, and general home improvement work in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

Quotes and Estimates

  • All quotes and estimates provided are approximate and subject to change based on actual project scope
  • Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided
  • Additional charges may apply for unexpected complications or customer-requested changes

Service Appointments

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance
  • We make every effort to arrive on time but cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees
  • Access to the work area must be provided at the scheduled time

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept cash, check, credit cards, and other electronic payment methods
  • Late payments may incur additional fees
  • All prices are in US Dollars

Warranty and Guarantee

We stand behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will either correct the issue or provide a refund. This guarantee covers workmanship only and does not cover:

  • Pre-existing damage or defects
  • Materials provided by the customer
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Modifications made after our work is complete

Liability Limitations

While we carry appropriate insurance and take all reasonable precautions, we are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by hidden defects or pre-existing conditions not discoverable during initial inspection
  • Damage to property not directly related to our work area
  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for our services

Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the work to be performed
  • Ensure the work area is accessible and safe
  • Remove or protect valuable items in the work area
  • Provide necessary utilities (electricity, water, etc.)
  • Inform us of any hazardous materials or conditions

North Carolina Contractor Requirements

In accordance with North Carolina law, we operate within the scope of handyman services that do not require a general contractor's license. For projects requiring a licensed general contractor, we will refer you to appropriate licensed professionals.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Mike's Handyman Services and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
